DAHLIA
9-1/2" diameter, the classical scalloped form. Some shallow glaze loss round the yellow rim, no doubt having started as glaze skips. Certainly doesn't interfere with appearance, and we do not recommend these for table use, anyway...just lovely display pieces.

sale price $275, plus shipping
NARCISSUS WITH SNAIL
9-1/8" diameter, the classical scalloped form. A lovely woodland composition, the snail adding a touch of realism to the scene. Note the impressed PB, as well as the painted signature!

sale price $300, plus shipping
TULIPS
9-1/4" diameter, the classical scalloped form. Flawless execution of the famous Rembrandt tulips in a dramatic spray.

PORQUIER BEAU POTPOURRI JAR
8-3/4" high, 9" across the handles, on a 4-1/4" footed base. A deliciously plump jar stands ready for your rose petals or lavender, the proud bee-and-flower-topped lid delicately pierced to allow the air to circulate, the yummy smells to come wafting out. A very old shape, decorated in a very old Rouen-inspired decor. Our restorer took care of problems with the body of the piece, and it is now in perfect condition (as was the lid to begin with). No signature, but the glaze and quality are most assuredly from the Porquier Beau production, ca. 1870.

CALOTTE PLATE WITH TULIPS
9-7/8" diameter, 1-3/8" depth to top, as above. An exquisite bouquet, the tulip reminiscent of those well-known bulbs that created tulip-mania in Holland in the 17th century. The flower sprays are anchored by a charming blazon at the top to create an imposing vignette. In excellent condition, with some shallow glaze flakes on the underside of the rim. No signature, but clearly Porquier Beau, ca. 1870.
