VINTAGE TABLECLOTH FROM BRITTANY

Approximately 50" square, composed of hand-embroidered fine homespun  squares, held together with traditional Brittany hand-made lace bands. Has been well-used over the years...there are several places that simply need a stitch or two in the lacework, and there are places where the dark-blue cross- stitch has worn thin, but overall, it is in lovely condition and deserves to be used for special occasions. The square shape works equally well on a round table, or on the diagonal on a rectangle. A very special cloth to complement your Quimper!
