The pieces in this group are all late 19th century, signed and unsigned, from the de la Hubaudière factory, and make a charming little vignette of the various shapes and decors available then: |
Small soupière: 6" across handles, 6" to top of acorn finial, unsigned. Leafy à la touche bands circle the lid and the pot-bellied base of this perfect little piece.$275. |

Little pitcher: 3-3/8" high, 3-3/4" across handle. S: HB. The glaze is blobby around the base, missing entirely in spots, which does not affect the appearance or utility of this small classic.$75. |
Small sauceboat on attached tray: 6-1/4" long x 4-1/2" wide, pitcher is 3-1/2" high, unsigned. Minor restoration to this fine old piece, whose decoration relates to the Chinese Chippendale used on major pieces at this time. Glaze skips inside the lip are original and would not affect usage ... like small flower arrangements.$150. |

Good shapes, good glazes, good decors: all HR Quimper: |
Tiny swan: 3-3/4" long, 1-1/2" across, barely 2" to top of his arched neck. And a tiny Bretonne inside, the HR Quimper signature at her feet. Did you need just one to complete your set, or to start a shelf of miniatures?$75. |
Porte-plume: 3-5/8" high, 2" x 2-1/2" at base, signed on the bottom. That luscious melting glaze this factory sometimes achieved in the early 20th century.$225. |
Small cup and saucer: saucer 5-1/4" diameter, cup 2-1/2" high and 2-1/2" diameter, signed under both cup and saucer. This is a classic form no longer made, in a simple croisillé decor that goes with everything. Capuccino or hot chocolate, this is ready for your private take-a-break time.$110. |

Little early gems, with the unmistakable AP flair: |
Picture frame: 4" x 5-1/4". S: AP. We had much restoration done on this wonderful old frame, as we felt it was a rare form and should be brought back to usefulness. And so it is! Could take a picture 2" x 3-1/2", just neatly taped to the back.$395. |
Trefoil basket: 4-1/4" across each side, 2-1/2" high, no signature. A fine early example of the twisted rope handles, simple floral decor. Minor restoration, to keep its dear little form ready for whatever uses you care to put it to ... just be sure to handwash!$350. |
Porte-menu: 3-1/4" diameter, 2" spread across the base, no signature. Oh, how well we know and love this bird! And have never had a finer example than right here, with a lovely wreath border, and a typical little AP man on the other side. Two miniature plates in one, a small scene-stealer on your dinner table or with your menu card collection.$500. |
