Platters and Chargers: What is the difference between a platter and a charger? Platters are usually longer, chargers are
usually more rounded. Perhaps we should use that useful French term présentoir for all of them! Among their other virtues, the fact that they are large gives scope for impressive views and stunning borders. Herewith, a group ranging from 1880s Porquier Beau up to good 1930s production ... many shapes, many
